Get your patio enclosure estimate started
I measure the patio and check the cover and slab before any wall talk.
Request an estimateWhat does it take to enclose a patio in Eastvale?
A patio enclosure in Eastvale adds glass or insulated walls under or around the patio cover you already have, so an open slab becomes a sheltered room that keeps out wind, dust, bugs and chilly evenings.
Most calls I get start the same way. You've got a covered patio you hardly use, because the afternoon wind kicks up dust, the bugs show up at dusk and the evenings get cool enough that everyone heads inside. If bugs are really the only problem, a screen room might be all you need, and I'll tell you so. The price moves with the size of the patio, whether your cover can carry walls or has to be replaced, and how much glass you want compared to solid panel. The schedule mostly turns on that same cover and on the permit, which we put together and submit for you when the job needs one. The estimate at your house is where you get a number for your own patio.
How we build a patio enclosure
I start by taking a close look at the cover you already have, the posts, the beams and the roof panels, because the walls hang off it and it decides a lot of what comes next. Then we sit down and weigh glass against solid panels for the view, privacy and comfort you're after, and I measure every opening and check that the slab is sound and sheds water. Once the plan and any permit are settled, our installers set the base tracks, stand the frames and panels, fit the windows and doors, and seal every joint where the room meets the house and the cover. We clean up when we're done so you can carry the furniture back out the same way it came in.
Some patios aren't worth enclosing as they stand. When the cover can't carry walls or the layout fights you, a room planned from scratch through our custom sunrooms work usually makes more sense, and when the job needs new footings, framing and a full roof, it becomes sunroom construction, which we handle too.
Patio enclosures in Eastvale and what the city checks
In Eastvale, the city's Building Safety Team reviews plans, issues permits and inspects residential projects, so they're the ones who decide whether your enclosure needs a permit. I check with them for your address before we plan anything, and you can reach them yourself at 951.703.4450 or permits@eastvaleca.gov. The city's forms page also lists a Patio Cover Standards document, which is worth a look if your cover is part of the question. When the job needs a permit, we put the paperwork together, submit it and meet the inspector for the visits.
Summers here get hot, and that changes which walls make sense. One Southern California seller says inland valley heat makes Low-E glass, which helps reflect heat, plus shading and an insulated roof more important, and suggests solid panels on the sunniest wall with glass everywhere else to balance comfort and cost. On a lot of backyards around here the patio takes the full afternoon sun, so I watch where the light lands before we pick a single panel, and we see the same heat on jobs in Jurupa Valley and Norco.
Why call us for patio enclosures
I come out and look myself
I'm the one who comes out to look at your patio, and our installers do the build with me checking in on site. You deal with the same person from the first measurement to the last panel.
Honest answers since 2023
Since I started this business in 2023, I've told people when a simpler room or a little prep work first is the smarter call. You end up with the room you pictured, not the one a sales pitch talked you into.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an enclosed patio cost per square foot?
A new enclosed patio with walls and windows usually costs about $100 to $350 per square foot across the US, so read that as a national range, not an Eastvale price or ours. Where your job lands depends on the patio's size, whether the cover can stay and how much glass you choose compared to solid panel.
What is the best way to choose between glass and insulated walls for a patio enclosure?
Choose glass if the view and daylight matter most, and insulated walls if you want the room to hold its temperature and give you more privacy. Glass walls in aluminum frames keep the yard in sight, while insulated walls pair solid panels with windows. For a room you'll want to sit in during an Eastvale July, I usually lean toward solid panels on the hottest wall, for the heat reasons I covered above.
Can my existing patio cover be enclosed?
Usually yes, if it's a solid aluminum cover in good condition, which one Southern California seller calls a much better starting point. The same seller says lattice and open-slat covers can't serve as the roof of an enclosed room unless they're replaced or topped with solid panels. That's why your cover is the first thing I look at.
What is the difference between a screen room and a patio enclosure?
A screen room uses screen panels to keep out bugs and debris while letting the breeze through, and it's typically a lighter, simpler project. It won't block cold, heat, dust storms or rain the way glass and insulated walls do, so if you want a room you can use year-round, go with walls.
What license should a patio enclosure installer have in California?
In California, anyone who builds or alters a structure needs a license from the Contractors State License Board if the job needs a building permit, uses any additional workers or costs $1,000 or more in labor and materials. The board's awning contractor license covers awnings and patio covers but doesn't include patio enclosures, so ask any installer which license class they hold for enclosure work.
What causes water to get into a patio enclosure?
A slab that sits too low is a common cause, and one maker's installation guide says the slab must sit higher than the surrounding ground. The tracks fastened to it have weep holes, small drain openings, so standing water can get into the tracks and the room, which is why I check the slab and the grade around it on the first visit. After the room is built, one enclosure company's guide suggests inspecting the roof and gutters once a year.
